This October, journey into the world’s oceans with “No Time to Lose,” a new show from St. Louis artist and author Rommie Martinez, opening Sunday, October 4 at 2:00 PM.

Martinez, born and raised in St. Louis, has been known as a hair and makeup artist and illustrator for many years; but in 2020, after so many changes all around, she turned inward, went back to her roots and her love of ecology, and started painting. She created “The Adventures of Eco Girl”, a painting series that follows a determined teenage girl with a deep passion for protecting the ocean, dedicating her life to rescuing and preserving endangered marine species—soon to become a book in 2026!

Take a deep dive with the artist every Sunday in October, from 2:00 – 6:00 PM, and explore an undersea world amidst whale songs and immersive lighting. Gallery is otherwise open Monday - Friday during normal business hours.
