Grab a lawn chair, grab a blanket! Join in for a free, live outdoor concert performed by a summer concert band in Heman Park!

The U City Summer Band--now in its 30th season--presents family-friendly concerts, performing light classics, marches, patriotic music, show tunes, popular music, jazz, transcriptions, and original music for band. The band is under the direction of music director/conductor Danny Lewis.

Note there is no concert on June 30. Concerts are held at our beautiful outdoor venue in Heman Park, 1028 Midland Blvd, University City, MO 63130 (park entrance is off Midland Blvd, opposite Shaftesbury Ave). All concerts start at 7 p.m., last about 60 minutes, and include a short intermission. Seating is on the lawn and some benches are available. There is shade under the trees.
