Public Safety Supervisor

Explore St. Louis / America’s Center seeks a full-time Public Safety Supervisor to perform the following duties:  supervise daily activities of in-house and contracted public safety personnel, coordinate employee schedules, and manage policies / procedures.  Will also guard and patrol the facility premises. Must demonstrate ability to effectively communicate information to customers, clients & employees and prepare reports/correspondence/memos.  One year certificate from college, technical school or one to two years related experience / training; or equivalent combination of education & experience. Visitor Information Specialists

Guest Service Hosts

Explore St. Louis is currently seeking part time Guest Service Hosts to work miscellaneous shows and events for the Dome at America’s Center. Guest Service Hosts will greet guests in a friendly and warm manner, assists guests to their seating areas, and answer questions in response to inquiries about the shows and events. Starting salary is $11.70 hr. Interested candidates must be at least 17 years of age, demonstrate ability to work in a team setting, flexible to work weekdays, evenings, and occasional weekends. Duties include: assigning & processing purchase orders, invoices & checks, maintaining PO database and posting transactions to AP Ledger. Will prepare / maintain 1099’s & vendor files and provide additional financial support as necessary. Proficiency in MS Word and Excel, excellent organizational skills and attention to detail required. Written & oral communication is critical. Associates Degree from 2-year college or technical school, 2-4 year’s experience and/or training in accounts payable is required. Experience with Sage 300 / ACCPAC accounting software is beneficial. Ticket Sellers

Must have computer knowledge in Microsoft Word and Excel, the ability to effectively communicate information to Public Safety Officers & building staff and initiate work orders and incident reports. Minimum of a High School diploma or GED, one to two years related experience. Must be able to pass a background check, drug screen and knowledgeable in Microsoft Office. This is a 24/7 operation.
