A stunning landmark in the Central West End, the Cathedral Basilica of St. Louis is open to visitors daily from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Roman Catholic Church holds mass Monday through Friday at 7 a.m., 8 a.m. and 12:05 p.m. and Sunday at 8 a.m., 10 a.m., 12 p.m. and 5 p.m. Giving deeper insight into the dazzling collection of mosaics, tours are also available Monday through Friday between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. If you decide to take a self-guided tour, don’t miss the Mosaic Museum in the basement, which details the creation of this distinguished work of art.

This is a beautiful church. Definitely worth seeubg if you are in the area. Bring a few dollars and light a candle. We were there during a mass and lots of people were in attendance.
