This Roman Catholic Church, a major landmark in the city of St. Louis, is open to visitors daily. Masses are at 7 a.m., 8 a.m. and 12:05 p.m., Mon.-Fri.; 8 a.m, 10 a.m., noon and 5 p.m. on Sun. Byzantine-style interior with one of the world's largest collection of mosaic art: 83,000 sq. ft. Tours Mon.-Fri., 10 a.m.-3 p.m.

It was an amazing cathedral. There was a small museum in the basement that told the history of the Basilica. It reminded me of St Peters in Rome. The mass was lovely.Full Review
Having been stationed plus being additionally well traveled in Europe, we thought we were church-ed & castle-ed out. We saw this St Louis attraction as part of a tour, and glad we did. Most unusual...Full Review
