This Roman Catholic Church, a major landmark in the city of St. Louis, is open to visitors daily. Masses are at 7 a.m., 8 a.m. and 12:05 p.m., Mon.-Fri.; 8 a.m, 10 a.m., noon and 5 p.m. on Sun. Byzantine-style interior with one of the world's largest collection of mosaic art: 83,000 sq. ft. Tours Mon.-Fri., 10 a.m.-3 p.m.

It's one of the most beautiful (man-made) places I've ever seen, and I've done a lot of traveling around the country and to Southeast Asia. I think it's one of the most peaceful and meditative places...

Beautiful Cathedral with great docents

Visited here with a group of friends. Led by a docent, I have the tour book, have visited with a different docent before. I learn new things every time! Will be back again!
