This Roman Catholic Church, a major landmark in the city of St. Louis, is open to visitors daily. Masses are at 7 a.m., 8 a.m. and 12:05 p.m., Mon.-Fri.; 8 a.m, 10 a.m., noon and 5 p.m. on Sun. Byzantine-style interior with one of the world's largest collection of mosaic art: 83,000 sq. ft. Tours Mon.-Fri., 10 a.m.-3 p.m.

They say that this cathedral has more mosaics than any other in our country. It sure looks like it. Large Catholic cathedral with massive main altar and several smaller altars. Tours are available...

We only had about one hour to visit but it is breathtaking. As gorgeous as any cathedral we have visited including Peru, various US cities and the Vatican.
