About
Our “out-of-this-world” simulated space missions are a great family experience that is both fun and educational. Reservations required. The 2-hour experience starts with a mission briefing. Afterwards, one half of the group “launches” into space where they perform various activities and experiments similar to astronauts, scientists, and engineers. The other group works in Mission Control to monitor and guide the astronauts’ activities to successfully complete their mission. All programs offered by the Challenger Learning Center provide meaningful and engaging science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) activities as well as a focus on team-building, cooperation, and critical and creative thinking skills. Programs are available for students, educators, corporations, scouts, community groups and the general public. Public programs are available on select Saturdays.
