In Arabic, the word "halal" means permissible or lawful in traditional Islamic law. It is frequently applied to permissible food and drinks. Many of their ingredients comes from Ziyad, which is one of the largest Middle Eastern companies in the U.S. Their baked goods are made daily, and seem to melt in your mouth as a you take a bite. It is a casual setting as they like to keep it simple and authentic.
