I try to visit state capitols (current and former) on our summer trips. The First Missouri Capitol is a nice stop if you are in the area. The original Capitol is well restored as is the entire area...

Our tour guide Roger (?) was great. He was knowledgeable, answered questions eagerly, and made the tour interesting. We love historical sites and his tour made it come to life. Well worth the time.
