MX Movies and Bar opened in January 2013 in the Mercantile Exchange District. Located directly across the street from the National Blues Museum and one block east of the Convention Center. MX Movies is a three-screen digital projection theatre with luxury, stadium seating bringing quality entertainment to the MX District. The generous and comfortable seating have swivel tables and liftable armrests to allow you to combine or draw the line! MX Movies and Bar features a full bar and lounge, traditional movie fare concessions, such as hot fresh popcorn, nachos, hot dogs, and pretzels. We offer many different traditional movie theater candies and packaged items. Our bar is stocked to the brim with your favorite cocktail mixers and alcoholic beverages. We feature local brews from 4 Hands Brewing, Urban Chestnut, and Schlafly.

This theater was a bit difficult for us out of towners to locate. However once we found it, it was definitely unique in a good way. You walk in to a full bar with a big t.v. and the movie theater...

Worst service I’ve ever experienced at the bar. The barwoman is rude and Obnoxious. Then observed her leave bar unattended and when returned argued with another customer
