Going Down Memory Lane

Just off I-44, this state park is worth the stop. Has a nice visitor center that can brief you about the history of our grand old highway. Don't let the fact that this was once a toxic waste dump...

We went to see the historic bridge that spans the Merimec River and were pleased to see it is under construction to repair it. I feel it is really important to restore and preserve this Route 66...
