Set in the rolling hills, lakes and glades of Forest Park, the Saint Louis Zoo is always a great place to be. The Zoo is open year-round, except on December 25 and January 1. Check website for hours. Admission is free.

A huge zoo that's free! It took us all day and we loved seeing all the animals and exhibits. A must with kids when visiting St. Louis.

Hours

Daily, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. except for holiday hours 9 a.m.-3 p.m. on Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve. Closed Christmas and New Year's Day. Check website for summer hours.
