Salt + Smoke Delmar is the original Salt + Smoke location, serving St. Louis barbecue in the Delmar Loop in University City since 2014. The restaurant smokes its barbecue fresh daily, with a menu featuring oak-smoked brisket, cherry wood St. Louis-style ribs, pulled pork, smoked wings and house made sides. Located at 6525 Delmar Blvd. near the Chuck Berry statue, Salt + Smoke Delmar is open for lunch and dinner. Guests can join the restaurant’s virtual waitlist before arriving. Happy hour is offered Monday through Friday from 3 to 6 p.m., with food and drink specials. Salt + Smoke has grown from its original Delmar restaurant to six locations across the St. Louis area, including St. Charles, Ballpark Village, South County, Kirkwood and Edwardsville, Illinois.
