“Spring at the Sun” stimulates viewers through new work and brings new perspectives on audience favorites. Geoffrey Alexander reimagines his work, “Vows Unspoken” on the Big Muddy women to create an exaggerated piece on loss. The Big Muddy Dance Company is thrilled to perform a new work in preview, commissioned by Dance St. Louis and choreographed by Audrey Simes. Guest artist Alivia Schaffer, a DanceWorks Chicago alum, presents her lively work, “Saludo,” for the first time on the company, and this invigorating show closes with the world premiere of a full-company work by Artistic Director Brian Enos. We are delighted finish out our fifth performance season at the historic Sun Theater, just blocks away from our new home in Grand Center.
