Celebrate International Day of Women and Girls in Science by meeting the women in science who make discoveries happen right here at the Aquarium. Enjoy donuts while we share how they study, care for, and protect our animals every day. This engaging morning program invites guests of all ages to meet the women behind the science and discover the many roles they play across the Aquarium.

Donuts & Discoveries: Inside Aquarium Science

Start the morning with donuts and an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the science that keeps our Aquarium thriving. Join Aquarium experts for a guided tour of a Life Support Systems (LSS) room and our water quality lab, where you’ll discover how water is filtered, tested, and carefully managed to create healthy habitats for our animals. This engaging program offers families a rare peek into the technology and teamwork that make everything work—most of it out of sight, but essential every day.

Program Details:

• Non-Members: Program price includes full-day Aquarium admission so you can continue exploring after the program.
• Member Rate: $10 per participant.  Member pricing will be applied at checkout once membership details are entered.
• Children must be accompanied by a ticketed adult.
• Recommended for guests ages 5 and up.
• Limited to 30 participants per session.
