About

Chef Bognar's modern Asian restaurant in St. Louis’ Botanical Heights neighborhood. Bognar serves his personal interpretations of Thai and Japanese cuisine in a contemporary dining space decorated with family photos and Asian artwork. He works to celebrate the time-honored tradition of omakase with the care he takes in sustainably sourcing, aging, and preparing premium fish that has been imported from Japan. Indo also offers small plates like sashimi, handrolls, and Thai family favorites and comforting large-format dishes designed for sharing such as Palm Sugar Ribs, Shrimp Toast, and Lobster thermidor. Bognar’s signature dish is the Isaan Hamachi with yellowtail, coconut naam pla, Thai kosho, and candied garlic- all of the flavors play off of each other and blend seamlessly to tell his story.
