Welcoming the return of quarterback A.J. McCarron, the 2023 XFL MVP who led the league in passing touchdowns (24) and completion percentage (68.8), the St. Louis Battlehawks hope to beat last year’s record-setting regular-season attendance of more than 35,000 per game. Ka-Kaw!

This year, the team also houses four of the top five receivers in the XFL last year: Jahcour Pearson (670 yards), Hakeem Butler (570 yards), Darrius Shepherd (519 yards) and Blake Jackson (440 yards). Plus, running backs Mataeo Durant, Wayne Gallman and Jacob Saylors all have NFL experience.

Coach Anthony Becht will once again lead the fearsome team. With deep ties to St. Louis, coach Becht wants nothing more than to win a championship for the city.
