One of the largest urban parks in the United States. At 1,371 acres, it is approximately 500 acres larger than Central Park in New York City. In 1904, the Louisiana Purchase Exposition, the greatest of the World's Fairs, drew more than 19 million visitors from around the world. Home to the Art Museum, Science Center, Zoo, Jewel Box greenhouse, History Museum, The Muny theatre, 7.5-mile biking, jogging and skating path, skating rink and lakes. FREE

Really beautiful way to be with mother nature in the middle of the city. It is also where you will find the zoo, Art museum, open air theater and much more

Wide open spaces and so much to do. Definitely, worth a visit if in STL. The zoo, boathouse, art museum, and MO history museum are all in the park.

A great place for a picnic. Sparsely populated att city parks go... It has a zoo, botanical garden. But is a vast park, so bring a bottle of water when hiking around it in summer
