ON BEHALF OF TAYLOR SWIFT, AMERICA’S CENTER MAKES

DONATION TO JOE’S PLACE

$10,000 Gift to Support Organization Assisting Homeless Boys

ST. LOUIS (Oct. 10, 2018) – Today officials from America’s Center provided a $10,000 donation to Joe’s Place on behalf of Taylor Swift’s ‘reputation Stadium Tour’ that came to The Dome at America’s Center on Tuesday, Sept. 18. The donation was made as a gesture of gratitude to Swift who requested a local worthy charity for foster children be identified and provided the funds on her behalf.

The check was presented to Joe’s Place by Kathleen ‘Kitty’ Ratcliffe, President of Explore

St. Louis and Matthew Dewey, Senior Vice President, General Manager for the America’s Center Convention Complex.

Joe’s Place is a residence which offers homeless teenage boys in the Maplewood Richmond Heights School District a caring home environment that supports them for high school graduation, self-sufficiency, and positive transitions into their adult lives.

“It’s great to give back to the community after such a big show in The Dome at
America’s Center,” said Kitty Ratcliffe.  “What a wonderful way to make a large impact not only for the concert goers, but helping those in need in a positive way.”

"We are grateful to have been selected to receive this gift on behalf of Ms. Swift and we are excited by the opportunities and resources these funds will provide for the young men at Joe’s Place," said Heath Moylan, President, Joe's Place board of directors.
