5 Things to Do in St. Louis this Weekend 11/1 – 11/3

Happy Friday, everyone! Here are five things you’ll want to make sure you do in St. Louis this weekend.

Beauty and the Beast: 11/1-3
Step into Belle’s royal slippers as one of the most beautiful love stories ever told comes to life! This weekend don’t miss the live theater version of the tale that’s as old as time. Based on the Academy Award-winning animated muscial film, don’t miss the Disney’s Beauty and the Beast as it hits the broadway stage at the The Fabulous Fox Theatre for one weekend.

Cranksgiving: 11/3
Ready to celebrate Cranksgiving?  The annual event features hundreds of bicyclists collecting food for Food Outreach. The bike ride begins at 10 a.m., at Schlafly Bottleworks in Maplewood. There are 5, 10 and 25 mile routes.

Disney’s Fantasia: 11/1-3
This weekend, Powell Symphony Hall presents a performance of Disney’s imaginative classic “Fantasia,” accompanied by the whimsical animation projected on the big screen. Tickets for the show cost between $30 & $65 all weekend

35th Annual St. Louis Jewish Book Festival: 11/3-17
Harvey Fierstein, famous actor and playwright, will open the 35th annual St. Louis Jewish Book Festival as the keynote speaker. His children’s book “The Sissy Duckling” will be featured at the 2-week long festival, which will spotlight numerous Jewish authors and their works.

Haunted Houses: 11/1-2
Halloween might be over but you can still get a great scare! St. Louis Haunted Houses are open through November 2. Check them out if you dare here.
