MetroLink light rail system extends 46 miles from either Lambert-St. Louis International Airport or from Shrewsbury to Shiloh-Scott (Air Force Base), Illinois, stopping along the way at major retail, business, recreational, and cultural centers, as well as the Convention Center, America's Center. Fare is $4 from airport stations; $3 elsewhere. The trains were on time and got me downtown quickly. I have seen a lot of reviews with concerns about security. I saw a number of guards on my trips and never had any issues in over 10 trips in one...

Very Very Unsafe!

They need ARMED POLICE at every stop and on every train! Metrolink has been unsafe for years and just yesterday ANOTHER Metrolink security guard was shot and killed! DO NOT USE THE STL METROLINK!
